TASC Staff Team

TASC has a small staff team who ensure that any door is the right door for those who approach the charity for assistance.

Angie joined TASC in April 2015, before this she has worked for over 20 years in the community and voluntary sector.  Angie has gained experience from the range of roles undertaken from infrastructure to volunteer management.  She hopes to use this to support the team and those who approach TASC for support.

Married to a paramedic she has an understanding of some of the pressures and stresses ambulance staff experience.

Charlene has recently joined TASC as a Support Services Assistant.  She  previously worked in the public sector and gained experience as a team secretary in the children and adult mental health services.  She is currently studying for a Masters degree in Psychological Wellbeing and will use her skills to support those in need. Charlene has volunteered as a family befriending buddy and cyber mentor and will use her experience to show compassion to everyone. As a Support Services Assistant she will be one of the first point of calls for beneficiaries requesting support.

Marieanne joined TASC as a volunteer coordinator in September 2017.  She has previously worked in both the private and public sectors and has experience of working as an administrator within mental health services for both adults and children.  As a volunteer coordinator she has also helped to launch a new project with a national charity to provide a befriending service for people suffering with terminal illness.  She has a passion for supporting and mentoring volunteers and helping them to make a difference to others.

Sam first joined TASC as a temp but joined the team on a permanent basis in August 2017.

Sam has worked in the care sector in both a carer and administrator capacity, where she discovered how addictive “making a difference” can be.  She also has experience as an administrator in the healthcare sector and public sector, and roles within customer service.

She will be bringing strong administration skills, knowledge and experience to her work with TASC to help the charity continue to support ambulance staff in need.

"I have worked within the charitable and not for profits sector for a number of years, firstly as a debt advise and more recently as a Development Officer. When I was given the opportunity to work at TASC I jumped at it. I am very passionate about the ambulance service, ever since I had suffered a serious leg injury following an accident at the age of 10 (first day of my summer holidays). I never got the opportunity to say “thank you” to those two fabulous ambulance staff that tended to me, but  I would like to hope that 37 years later I can express my gratitude and make a difference."

Daniel was previously a Trustee for TASC The Ambulance Services Charity from September 2015 - July 2018.  He is a representative of the independent ambulance sector on the Board.

Before starting his own independent Ambulance Service X9, Daniel worked in and for the NHS, as well as blue chip private companies.  Daniel is a qualified Emergency Medical Technician and is committed to training and service quality.

He also owns a residential care home and has particular expertise in the needs of the elderly and is a champion of patient choice and Dignity in Care.
